Fielmann Profit Gains 38% as Consumers Buy Discount Eyeglasses (Bloomberg) Feb. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Fielmann AG , Europe?s largest chain of optical stores, said full-year profit rose 38 percent as consumers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria bought more of its discount eyeglasses from an increased number of outlets.
Lions Club Grateful For Eyeglasses (Garden City News) The Garden City Public Library is a collection site for used eyeglasses for the Recycle for Sight Program, which is run by a local Lions Club. Library patrons have been very generous donating their used eyeglasses.
